Fair Deal Alaska may contact individuals by text message in connection with political, fundraising, voter engagement, advocacy, volunteer recruitment, and informational activities. Text messages sent by us are not initiated or sent using a device that either stores a telephone number using a random or sequential number generator, or which produces a telephone number using a random or sequential number generator and, therefore, are not sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (“ATDS” or “autodialer”). HOWEVER, TO THE EXTENT YOU PROVIDE US YOUR PHONE NUMBER OR OPT-IN TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES FROM US, YOU EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZE US TO USE AUTODIALER OR NON-AUTODIALER TECHNOLOGY TO SEND TEXT MESSAGES TO THE CELL PHONE NUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR OPT-IN.

The wireless carriers supported by our texting service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through our service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or the service.

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with Fair Deal Alaska, election cycles, events, volunteer activities, or other campaign-related communications.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan. Fair Deal Alaska  is not responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless provider.

Opt-Out

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to 360-207-0141 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You’ll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request promptly.

No Guarantee of Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless provider and other factors beyond our control.
